San Francisco Bay, built from real data
A Boeing 777 flies the ILS to runway 28R over the real bay: USGS terrain, NOAA seabed, NAIP imagery, OpenStreetMap buildings, FAA runway data, and the flight itself from the SFO Tower simulation.
The director cuts between eight cameras: a wide view over the bay, the San Mateo Bridge deck as the jet crosses overhead, chase, the starboard wing, the flight deck, the tower cab, a spotter on the Millbrae shore and the rollout. Keys 1–8 pick one, 0 hands back to the director.
F frees the camera (WASD + drag; N and 1–6 fly to the tower, the threshold, Bayfront Park, Coyote Point and the bridge). R replays, P pauses, T runs the day, Z switches the captions between English and 中文.
The flight is the SFO Tower simulation's own track: a real ILS 28R glidepath (3.0°, 68 ft threshold crossing height per FAA NASR), 149 kt approach speed, touchdown in the touchdown zone. Radio calls follow FAA phraseology.
